A boutique high end residential practice based in East London is seeking a Technical Architect to join their team. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will run luxury UK residential projects through to completion with a focus on technical excellence. You will join a stable and friendly team where each person owns a clear area of expertise. In this role, you will be the technical specialist within a three-person project group, focusing on RIBA stages 4 to 7. ArchiCAD proficiency is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Advise on technical matters across early RIBA stages
- Produce high quality tender and construction drawing packages
- Coordinate inputs from consultants and internal team members
- Lead and manage tender processes, including documentation and analysis
- Carry out site inspections and liaise directly with contractors
- Respond to RFIs, oversee site procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- Support contract administration for JCT and construction management contracts
Skills and Experience
- Professional competence in ArchiCAD
- Minimum 2 years post Part III experience working on residential projects
- Strong technical design, detailing ability and BIM fluency
- Proven delivery of RIBA stages 4–7
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Confident communicator with strong coordination skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK, this practice cannot sponsor
