A leading AJ100 practice that specialises in housing projects is seeking a Project Lead to join their team. The project is a large scale, low density project so UK experience leading a similar project is essential to be considered. You will act as a project lead within a larger team, responsible for coordinating design, managing consultants and guiding projects through planning and delivery. The role sits between senior leadership and the wider project team, with real influence over design development and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead low-density residential projects through key RIBA stages
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams
  • Work with clients, developing briefs, leading presentations and meetings
  • Oversee design development, technical resolution and compliance
  • Manage programmes, resources and client relationships
  • Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • ARB-registered Architect with at least 5 years post qualification experience
  • Strong background in UK residential-led projects, ideally suburban or masterplanned contexts
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Confident managing planning, technical stages and consultant coordination
  • Clear communicator, comfortable working with clients and local authorities
  • The right to live and work in the UK
