Job Description
A friendly East London architecture practice is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist or Technician to join their team, contributing to the delivery of two high-risk residential projects.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing technical packages and supporting delivery through construction stages. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking studio working on two major, design-led projects with complex regulatory and construction requirements.
This role will be an initial fixed term contract until Christmas, with potential to go permanent dependant on future pipeline of work. The practice is confident they will win a similar large scale project by the end of summer.
Requirements:
- Extensive technical and construction knowledge, particularly in UK residential high-rise developments
- Proven experience delivering high-risk or high-rise buildings in accordance with UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
- Strong detailing ability and confidence producing comprehensive technical drawings
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD is preferred, though Revit users with strong skills and adaptability will also be considered
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Confidence working on site
- Right to work in the UK is essential, sponsorship is not offered
