A large, reputable design led practice based in London is seeking Senior Architects and package running Architects to join their Education team. If you have a strong grounding in education projects, particularly those aligned with Department for Education standards, this role will give you the platform to lead meaningful work and influence the next generation of teaching spaces. You will join a supportive, design-focused practice in Central London known for its collaborative culture, balanced work patterns, and commitment to technical and sustainable excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead education projects from concept through delivery, ensuring compliance with DfE specifications and technical guidance
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants across all RIBA stages
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications to a high standard
- Engage confidently with clients, stakeholders, and user groups
- Support planning submissions, tender packages, risk reviews, and quality checks
- Guide junior team members and contribute to a positive studio culture
Skills & Experience
- ARB registered with proven experience delivering UK education schemes
- Strong understanding of the DfE Output Specification and related frameworks
- Proficiency in Revit, with experience working in BIM Level 2 environments
- Confident communicator with excellent coordination ability
- Strong technical awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining design quality
- The right to live and work in the UK
