This is a genuine step-up role for a Senior Architect who is ready for Associate and wants a practice that will actually get them there. Our client is a highly respected architectural practice with a strong pipeline of commercial office work, from workplace repositioning and refurbishments to large-scale new builds. They have a proven track record of promoting from within, and the route to Associate is part of the conversation from day one, not a vague promise.
The Role
You'll lead commercial office projects from start to finish and be the main point of contact for clients and consultants. Alongside delivery, you'll mentor the team, build client relationships and help win new work. These are the skills that make an Associate, and you'll have full support to grow into them.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial office projects across multiple RIBA stages.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage consultant teams, programmes and resourcing.
- Oversee design development, technical packages and construction information.
- Lead client meetings, design reviews and site visits.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Contribute to bids and new business.
- Deliver projects to programme, budget and quality.
Requirements
- ARB-registered Architect at Senior Architect level.
- A strong track record of leading commercial office projects in a UK practice.
- Strong Revit skills and excellent technical knowledge.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams.
- Experience mentoring or managing others.
- The ambition to step up to Associate.
