An AJ100 London-based practice is seeking a Recently Qualified Architect to join their residential team, contributing to early-stage design and planning work across large-scale housing and mixed-use projects in the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio that values social impact, design quality, and long-term sustainability. You’ll be involved in concept development, feasibility studies, and pre-application work, with exposure to strategic masterplans and regeneration schemes.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to RIBA Stages 1–3 on residential and mixed-use projects
- Develop concept designs, diagrams, and feasibility studies
- Support planning submissions and design access statements
- Collaborate with urban designers, planners, and consultants
- Attend internal design reviews and client meetings
Requirements:
- Part III qualified with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong design and graphic communication skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
- Knowledge of UK housing standards and planning policy
- A proactive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
- The right to live and work in the UK
