An AJ100 London-based practice is seeking a Recently Qualified Architect to join their residential team, contributing to early-stage design and planning work across large-scale housing and mixed-use projects in the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio that values social impact, design quality, and long-term sustainability. You’ll be involved in concept development, feasibility studies, and pre-application work, with exposure to strategic masterplans and regeneration schemes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to RIBA Stages 1–3 on residential and mixed-use projects
  • Develop concept designs, diagrams, and feasibility studies
  • Support planning submissions and design access statements
  • Collaborate with urban designers, planners, and consultants
  • Attend internal design reviews and client meetings

Requirements:

  • Part III qualified with 1–2 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong design and graphic communication skills
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
  • Knowledge of UK housing standards and planning policy
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
  • The right to live and work in the UK
