A forward-thinking Build to Rent developer is seeking an experienced Assistant/Junior Project Manager to oversee in-unit renovations and small-scale Capex uplift works across one of their residential developments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team focused on enhancing the living experience for residents through high-quality refurbishment and capital improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage in-unit renovations and additional small-scale Capex works, ensuring efficient, on-time delivery.
- Contractor Management: Source, coordinate, and manage relationships with small contractors, suppliers, and third-party vendors. Ensure quality and performance standards are consistently met.
- Budget Management: Support the delivery of works within budget, tracking spend and reporting on financial progress throughout.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules. Ensure all activities are synchronised and executed within set timeframes.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management. Proactively address issues or delays, delivering solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough onsite records, including daily logs and progress reports. Share updates with onsite and asset management teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience managing in-unit renovations from planning to delivery.
- Proven ability to manage contractors and suppliers effectively, including negotiating quotes and overseeing work quality.
- Strong organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidates must be currently based in the UK and have demonstrable experience working within the UK construction or property sector.
- Candidates must be available to start within 4 weeks.
Salary & Benefits:
