A leading London architecture practice is seeking talented Project Architects to join their growing team, focusing on high-quality commercial workplace and office-led projects. These roles are ideal for independent job runners who enjoy taking ownership across RIBA Stages 0–4, leading design work, and delivering projects with confidence, while still being supported by senior staff.

You’ll be responsible for guiding projects from briefing and feasibility through concept, planning and early technical design, working closely with clients and consultants to develop thoughtful, design-driven commercial environments. The studio works collaboratively, with senior leadership closely involved in all projects, so you will have the opportunity to present ideas and contribute meaningfully to the creative direction of the practice.

What the role involves:
  • Leading commercial/workplace office projects through RIBA Stages 0–4.
  • Running projects independently while contributing to collaborative studio culture.
  • Supporting junior team members and guiding their development.
  • Preparing feasibility studies, concepts, planning packages and coordinated Stage 3/4 information.
  • Presenting design work confidently to peers, clients and the wider studio.
  • Coordinating with consultants to ensure cohesive, well-executed project outcomes.
  • Working in both 2D and 3D within Vectorworks.

The practice places strong value on collaboration, creativity and cultural awareness. Alongside project work, the team is involved in a range of studio-wide initiatives including research groups, design forums, and cultural activities hosted within the studio. They also sponsor external community and cultural events, encouraging everyone in the practice to participate.

These are full-time positions with imminent start dates, suited to motivated architects looking to develop their career, take on meaningful responsibility, and work within a supportive, design-focused environment. The company offers every other Friday off, with an optional 9 day fortnight.

What they’re looking for:
  • Qualified Architect with strong experience in commercial/workplace or office-led projects.
  • Proven ability to run projects and lead design teams in early workstages.
  • Strong design capability paired with solid technical understanding.
  • Confident communicator with excellent coordination and presentation skills.
  • Experience in Vectorworks.
  • A positive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for contributing to studio culture.

The practice welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive environment that reflects the communities they design for.
