Part II Architectural Assistant | International Projects

6-Month Contract with a View to Permanent | Competitive Contract Rate | Immediate Start Requirement

If you're a Part II with international project experience and good Revit skills, this is a chance to put them to work on landmark international projects at a highly regarded global architecture and design practice. The role starts as a 6-month contract with a real view to going permanent for the right person. If you're available immediately or on a short notice period, get in touch today, as the team is keen to move quickly.

Our client has studios around the world and a strong reputation for design quality and technical delivery. Their international work covers mixed-use, residential, hospitality, commercial and masterplanning projects, often at a scale few practices can match. Projects this size need people who understand how international schemes run and can produce well-built, well-coordinated models. That's why they're looking for Part IIs who bring both. You won't be stuck in a corner producing drawings. You'll be a key part of the project team, building and managing models, keeping information coordinated and contributing to projects across a range of stages. It's valuable experience and a strong step towards Part III.

The Role

You'll work closely with Architects, Project Architects and Associates on large-scale international projects. Your main focus will be producing high-quality Revit models and drawing packages, coordinating information with consultants and keeping project models accurate, efficient and well organised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and manage Revit models on large-scale international projects.
  • Produce coordinated drawing packages across multiple RIBA stages.
  • Create and manage families, templates, views and sheets to a high standard.
  • Coordinate architectural models with consultant models and resolve clashes.
  • Maintain BIM standards, model health and good modelling practice.
  • Support project teams with Revit queries and help improve workflows.
  • Prepare presentation, planning and technical information from the model.
  • Attend project meetings, design reviews and coordination workshops.

Requirements

  • Experience working on international schemes.
  • Good Revit skills, including modelling, families, worksharing and documentation.
  • Experience producing coordinated drawing packages in Revit within a UK practice.
  • Good understanding of BIM workflows and model coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical ability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Immediate availability or a short notice period is a real advantage.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive contract rate.
  • An initial 6-month contract with a real view to going permanent.
  • Large-scale international projects across a range of sectors.
  • A role where your international experience and Revit skills are valued and put to good use.
  • The chance to work alongside experienced architects at a globally respected practice.
  • Valuable experience to support your progression towards Part III.
  • A collaborative, supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Part II who wants to build on their international experience and get a foot in the door at a leading global practice. Do well on the contract and there's a genuine chance of a permanent role at the end of it.
