A globally recognised design-led practice is looking for a Senior Project Designer to join their London studio, working on mid to large-scale hospitality projects including urban and resort hotels. This is a senior leadership role guiding design direction from concept through to delivery, mentoring teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design execution across mid to large-scale hospitality projects, ensuring design intent, quality, budget and programme are met.
  • Oversee multiple design teams, driving consistency and quality control throughout all project phases.
  • Work directly with clients to define and deliver project goals.
  • Propose and develop creative design solutions aligned with project vision and commercial objectives.
  • Manage design staff and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Support the Project Manager and Project Architect on delivery, financial performance and communication.
  • Ensure documentation meets QA, QC and best practice standards.
  • Build strong internal and client relationships through clear, consistent communication.
  • Support studio marketing and business development activities where required.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing feedback to support their growth.

Key Requirements

  • Professional degree from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years of experience in hospitality design across mid to large-scale projects, including delivering urban and resort hotels.
  • Strong software skills across Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper and SketchUp.
  • Confident sketching skills.
  • Proven experience in client management, project delivery and negotiations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
