A residential focused architecture practice is looking for Project Managers to join its team based in Central London. Its projects range from complex refurbishment and remediation programmes to new-build housing delivered with public and private sector partners. The culture is collaborative and inclusive, with a clear emphasis on technical rigour, long-term client relationships and professional development. Project managers work closely with architects, technical teams and external consultants as part of fully integrated project teams.
This role sits within the practice’s project management and Employer’s Agent team, supporting the delivery of residential projects with a strong focus on cladding remediation, building safety and affordable housing. You will work under the guidance of experienced senior colleagues, with exposure to a broad range of responsibilities and clear opportunities to progress.
Responsibilities:- Administer residential cladding and remediation projects from inception through delivery
- Act as Employer’s Agent on residential schemes, working closely with housing providers
- Support procurement and delivery of new-build residential projects where required
- Manage contract administration under JCT design and build contracts
- Chair, record and manage project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- You have at least 5 years experience working as a project manager within the built environment
- Solid understanding of JCT build contracts, payment processes and contract administration
- Working knowledge of Building Safety Regulations and associated processes
- Confident communicator, able to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Interest in working towards professional chartership such as RICS or CIOB
- The right to live and work in the UK
- Hybrid working 1 day a week working from home
- 2 weeks a year to work remotely after passing probation
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days)
