This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Architect or experienced Technician ready to step into an Associate-level role within a respected, award-winning studio. Ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and teams, this position offers real responsibility, visibility and room to grow.

The studio is looking for a hands-on professional with solid project-running experience across RIBA Stages 3+, confident leading teams and coordinating complex delivery. The Associate will play a key role in maintaining technical excellence, supporting clients, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the practice.

The role will involve:

  • Leading projects from start-up through to completion, ensuring quality, commercial performance and client satisfaction
  • Driving technical excellence and championing innovation across design and delivery stages
  • Managing, mentoring and supporting project teams, encouraging collaboration and continuous learning
  • Working closely with senior leadership to support business development, growth and marketing initiatives

About you:

  • 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical design knowledge and proven project management capability
  • Confident leading teams and coordinating consultants across complex projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both internally and client-facing
  • Commercially aware, organised and proactive in problem-solving
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Proficient in relevant design and BIM software (Revit preferred)
  • Full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
