Interior Finishes & Specifications Coordinator

Location: London

Salary: Β£28,800 – Β£34,000 per year

Type: Full-time, permanent | Office and site based

The Opportunity

We're working with an established, privately owned property development and investment company that delivers high-quality residential schemes across London and the South East. Their projects range from individual luxury apartments to large multi-unit developments. They're growing, and they now want an Interior Finishes & Specifications Coordinator to join the team.

This role is all about materials, products and finishing details. You'll own the selection, sourcing and coordination of internal finishes, the details that turn a completed building into a beautiful home. You'll work directly with senior management and have real input into how every development looks and feels when it's finished.

The Role

  • Research and select internal finishes, including flooring, tiles, paints and wall coverings
  • Source bathrooms, sanitaryware, brassware and accessories
  • Coordinate kitchen finishes, worktops, internal doors and ironmongery
  • Prepare material samples, mood boards and finishes schedules for senior management to approve
  • Work with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors and site managers across live developments
  • Get competitive quotes and keep selections within project budgets
  • Coordinate specifications and finishes across several residential schemes at the same time
  • Visit sites and supplier showrooms when needed
  • Help keep the quality and finish consistent across the whole portfolio

About You

  • Ideally 1–3 years' experience in interior finishes, residential development or interior specifications. Strong junior applicants will also be considered.
  • A sharp eye for detail, colour, materials and contemporary residential finishes
  • Good knowledge of bathroom, kitchen, flooring and architectural hardware suppliers
  • Commercially minded, with a good understanding of budgets and value for money
  • Highly organised and a confident communicator
  • Comfortable working on your own and running several projects at once
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and keen to learn
  • Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit or Adobe Creative Suite is useful but not essential

What's on Offer

  • Direct exposure to senior management at an established developer
  • A varied residential portfolio, from luxury apartments to large multi-unit schemes
  • Real ownership and creative input into the finished look of every property
  • A growing business with plenty of room to develop
