A multi-award-winning international architecture and design studio is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join their head office in Edinburgh. This is a full-time role ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment and is passionate about people, culture, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Directors, you will lead the HR function across the practice, supporting a diverse team of architects, designers, and support staff. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, employee relations, compliance, and wellbeing initiatives. As the first point of contact for all HR matters, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and forward-thinking studio culture. Requirements Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR role, ideally within the architecture or design and construction industry Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion Experience developing and implementing HR policies, systems, and frameworks Confident working independently and as part of a leadership team CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) desirable Must have the right to work in the UK What’s on Offer You’ll be joining a dynamic, collaborative studio known for its innovative design work across the UK, Middle East, and beyond.
