This is an opportunity to join a large, well-established architecture practice as an HR Coordinator on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the HR function within a creative, professional services environment. The role suits someone who is organised, people-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy studio setting. After successful completion of probation, the role offers hybrid working with two days per week working from home. Working closely with the wider HR team and senior leaders, you will help ensure a smooth employee experience from recruitment through to ongoing employment, contributing to a positive and well-supported workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating recruitment processes, including interview scheduling, offer administration and onboarding
- Acting as a first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff and managers
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems in line with data protection requirements
- Supporting payroll inputs, contract administration, and absence tracking
- Assisting with HR projects, policy updates, training coordination and engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Between 2-5 years experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Administration role, ideally within the build environment sector (architecture, engineering, construction, interior design)
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner
- Competence using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
