A forward‑thinking studio specialising in commercial retrofit and residential projects is seeking a Project Architect to join their team based in South London. The ideal candidate will be confident leading projects or job running packages. This role offers a flexible 9‑day fortnight (1 non‑working day every other week) for people with young families or those looking for flexibility. Full‑time office work is also available for the remaining days. Base pay range is provided by Architecture Social; your actual remuneration will be based on your skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring design integrity and technical excellence
- Coordinate with consultants and contractors to achieve high‑quality outcomes
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications using Vectorworks
- Manage client relationships and present design proposals confidently
- Lead a small team of designers, including Part I's and Part II's
Skills & Experience
- ARB registered Architect with at least 3–5 years post‑qualification experience
- Strong proficiency in Vectorworks is essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a small team
- Confident working with clients and on site with contractors
- The right to live and work in the UK
