A leading UK AJ100 architecture practice is seeking a Director to lead its London studio. This is a pivotal leadership position within a growing, design-led practice with a diverse UK project portfolio across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for studio leadership, business development, team management, and client engagement. Only candidates registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic and day-to-day operations of the London studio
- Drive business development and win high-quality UK-based projects across multiple sectors
- Oversee project delivery and maintain design excellence throughout all stages
- Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Manage, support, and mentor the London team, fostering a positive and collaborative studio culture
- Represent the studio within the wider practice leadership team
- Ensure the studio meets commercial and operational targets
- Collaborate with the practice's three other studios
- ARB registered Architect
- Minimum 10 years post-qualification
- Proven experience in leading architectural teams and delivering UK-based projects
- Strong business development skills and a track record of securing work across key sectors
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management abilities
- The right to live and work in the UK
