Join a globally recognised architecture studio rooted in Edinburgh with offices now also in London and Dubai. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computational Designer to blend architectural creativity with cutting‑edge digital workflows.
Responsibilities
- Drive computational and parametric design initiatives using Rhino and Grasshopper to inform form, performance and concept.
- Integrate Revit workflows via Rhino Inside, ensuring seamless collaboration between computational and BIM environments.
- Lead design exploration, prototyping, scripting and automation across RIBA design stages.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, visualisation specialists and sustainability consultants on sustainable, high‑performance projects.
- Mentor junior designers in computational techniques and advanced digital skills.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years’ professional experience in computational design and architecture.
- Expert in Rhino and Grasshopper; strong working knowledge of Revit and Rhino Inside workflows.
- Demonstrated passion for architecture and technology—this is not a managerial BIM role.
- Comfortable based in London with occasional travel or relocation to Edinburgh as needed.
