A Part II Architectural Assistant is sought to join a creative and collaborative architectural team working across a broad range of residential, workplace, regeneration and education projects. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across different project sectors and RIBA stages while working closely with experienced architects in a studio that encourages involvement, responsibility and professional development from an early stage. The practice is particularly interested in candidates with ArchiCAD experience and a strong interest in design, technical development and project delivery.
The Role
- Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll contribute to projects from concept design through to technical delivery, supporting project leaders across a variety of live schemes.
- You'll have the opportunity to be involved in design development, planning submissions, presentations, technical packages and project coordination, while continuing to build your architectural experience across a range of project types.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with projects across a variety of RIBA stages.
- Develop design proposals, planning packages and technical drawings using ArchiCAD.
- Produce presentations, visualisations and supporting design material.
- Coordinate with consultants and wider project teams.
- Attend project meetings and contribute to design reviews.
- Assist with planning submissions and technical documentation.
- Support project delivery across residential, workplace, regeneration and education sectors.
Requirements
- Part II qualified Architectural Assistant.
- Good ArchiCAD proficiency.
- Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
- Strong design, presentation and communication skills.
- Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
