A design led architecture practice is looking for a Digital Lead to drive BIM and Computational Design across their practice across their 12 studios globally. Working across a range of sectors and scale, you will champion best practice in digital delivery and lead the implementation of BIM across all their projects, as well as computational design and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the studio wide digital delivery strategy in line with project and business goals
- Set, maintain and audit BIM standards, templates and model health across projects
- Oversee project information management, coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and BIM 360
- Develop and implement computational workflows in Grasshopper and Dynamo to improve efficiency and quality
- Support teams in structuring models for planning, coordination, fabrication and asset information
- Provide hands on guidance to project teams, including model reviews and troubleshooting
- Mentor and upskill colleagues through training, guidance notes and one to one support
- Collaborate with design, technical and management teams to align digital processes with studio culture and values
Skills & Experience
- At least 10 years experience working in a BIM focused role
- Strong experience leading BIM on complex architectural projects in practice
- Expert user of Revit, with solid understanding of worksharing, phasing and documentation
- Confident with Navisworks for coordination and clash resolution
- Proficient in Rhino and Grasshopper for computational and geometry heavy workflows
- Competent with Dynamo for automation and data driven workflows in Revit
- Good knowledge of BIM 360 for common data environments and collaboration
- Clear communicator, able to translate technical concepts for non specialists
- A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for helping others succeed
- The right to live and work in the UK - no sponsorship permitted
