A well-established, design-led architecture studio based in South London is seeking a Project Architect to join its team. The practice specialises in commercial retrofit and residential projects and is looking for an architect who is confident leading projects and managing work packages from concept through to delivery.
This role offers the option of a 9-day fortnight, providing a level of flexibility rarely found in practice. Full-time working is also available. The position is office-based on working days.
The Role
- Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring strong design quality and technical delivery
- Coordinate consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications using Vectorworks
- Manage client relationships and present proposals clearly and professionally
- Support and supervise junior staff, including Part I and Part II assistants
- Attend site and work closely with contractors during construction
Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect with 1-3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong working knowledge of Vectorworks (essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and small teams
- Confident working with clients and on site
- Right to live and work in the UK
