A friendly, growing London-based architecture studio is looking for an Architectural Technician or Technologist with strong ArchiCAD to join their team. The practice works across carefully considered residential and mixed-use projects, with a reputation for high-quality design and technical rigour. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering well-resolved buildings from detailed design through to construction.
Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and packages using Archicad
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3–5, with a focus on buildability and quality
- Develop and maintain BIM models in line with office standards
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Assist with technical detailing, specifications and drawing reviews
- Contribute to the smooth running of projects within agreed programmes
Requirements
- Architectural Technician or Technologist qualification with at least 5 years experience
- Strong working knowledge of ArchiCAD (essential)
- Experience delivering UK-based projects, ideally within residential or housing-led schemes
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small, design-led team
- Clear communication skills and a methodical, organised approach
- The right to live and work in the UK
