A friendly, growing studio based in East London is seeking an Architectural Technologist or Technician to join their team. This is a great move for an Architectural Technologist working toward CIAT accreditation who wants to take real ownership of technically detailed, large-scale UK housing projects. You’ll be part of a coordinated, BIM-led team working on a large scale high rise, residential project in the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Producing and coordinating detailed technical packages for large-scale residential projects using Archicad
- Developing robust BIM models and information outputs aligned with internal standards and project requirements
- Supporting delivery across technical design, tender and construction stages, with a focus on buildability and compliance
- Coordinating consultant and specialist information, helping to manage clashes, interfaces and drawing/model alignment
- Contributing to quality control, drawing reviews and the continual improvement of technical and BIM workflows
Requirements:
- Qualified Architectural Technologist or Technician working toward CIAT accreditation
- Have at least 4-5 years live project experience
- UK practice experience, ideally delivering large-scale housing or residential-led schemes
- Proficient in Archicad and comfortable working in a BIM-led environment on live projects
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
- Experience working on high rise, high risk projects desirable but not essential
- Well organised with clear communication skills
- The right to live and work in the UK
