An established architectural practice in London is currently seeking an Architect with strong Gateway 2 experience to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their technical expertise within a well supported and structured studio environment. The role will focus on compliance, technical coordination and delivery, with particular emphasis on building safety and Gateway 2 submissions.
You will work across a varied portfolio including residential and commercial workplace projects, playing a key role in ensuring schemes meet the latest regulatory requirements while maintaining high quality design outcomes. This position would suit someone who is confident navigating the Building Safety Act requirements and enjoys working in a technically driven role, while still contributing to the wider project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- 2 plus years of post qualification experience
- Proven experience working on Gateway 2 submissions and a clear understanding of the Building Safety Act
- Experience across RIBA stages 3 to 5 with a strong technical focus
- Background in residential projects
- Good understanding of building regulations, compliance processes and technical detailing
- Revit capability preferred, though not essential for the right level of Gateway 2 experience
- Ability to take ownership of packages while working collaboratively within a wider team
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive and professional approach
