Project Architect | High-End Private Residential | North West London
Up to Β£50,000 + Hybrid Working, Discretionary Bonus, Commission Scheme and more
Some architects enjoy being one part of a much larger team. Others want to be closer to the client, have a real influence on the design and see their ideas carried through from the first sketch to completion on site. If you're the second kind, read on.
Our client is a well-established residential architecture and interiors practice. They design beautifully crafted private homes across London, from extensions and heritage refurbishments to bespoke new builds, many of them in conservation areas. They are known for thoughtful, high-quality design. Because they offer architecture, interiors and build all in-house, you'll get to see the whole life of a home, not just one stage of it. As part of a close-knit team, you'll work directly with the directors, giving you genuine responsibility, regular contact with clients and a real say in how projects are designed and delivered. It's a great fit for an architect who enjoys owning a project, building relationships and producing well-crafted, considered architecture.
The Role
You'll lead a range of bespoke residential projects through multiple RIBA stages, balancing design, technical delivery and client management. - Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Strong design and technical ability.
- Experience running projects through multiple RIBA stages.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Confident coordinating consultants and project teams.
- A proactive and organised approach to delivery.
- Experience working in conservation areas or on heritage properties is a bonus.
Salary & Benefits
- Up to Β£50,000.
- Discretionary annual bonus.
- 22 days annual leave, increasing by one day per year of service up to 25 days.
- Company pension.
- Group Life Insurance.
- Cycle to Work scheme.
- An Individual Development Plan tailored to your long-term career progression.
- Clear progression opportunities in a growing team.
This role is for an architect who wants more than moving drawings from one stage to the next. You'll work closely with clients, take real ownership of your projects and grow in a studio where your contribution is seen and valued. If you love high-quality residential architecture and want a long-term home rather than just your next job, we'd love to hear from you.
