Competitive Salary + Part III Support, Mentoring, Exposure to Modular & R&D Projects & More!
For a Part II, the right practice can make a real difference to the kind of architect you become. This opportunity is with an award-winning, research-led studio that puts technology, sustainability and good design at the centre of everything it does. The practice works across London and internationally, and has built a strong reputation for residential and modular housing. It is now looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant with strong Revit skills to join its residential team and contribute to projects from early design through to delivery.
This role would suit someone who enjoys residential design, is confident using Revit and wants to work in a studio where new ideas and better ways of building are actively encouraged.
The Role
You'll work closely with Architects and Project Leads on a range of residential schemes, including modular housing and mixed-use developments. You'll help develop design proposals, produce coordinated Revit models and drawings, and support planning and technical packages.
Because the studio is BIM-led and has in-house environmental engineering expertise, you'll get a broader view of how buildings are designed and how they perform than you would in many practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residential projects across a range of RIBA stages.
- Produce coordinated drawings and models in Revit.
- Develop design proposals, presentation material and planning packages.
- Assist with technical information and project coordination.
- Work alongside the in-house environmental team on sustainable design solutions.
- Attend project meetings, design reviews and site visits.
- Contribute to the studio's research, modular and technology-led work.
Requirements
- Residential project experience, ideally within a UK practice.
- Strong design skills and a portfolio that shows creative thinking.
- Interest in sustainability, modular construction and new technology.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- A motivated approach and pride in your work.
- Keen to progress towards Part III.
Salary & Benefits
- Support towards Part III qualification.
- 10 days study leave.
- Private healthcare after a three-month probation period.
- Holiday entitlement that increases after one year's service.
- Extra day off for your birthday.
- Mentoring and industry exposure from an experienced leadership team.
- Involvement in modular housing, R&D and technology-driven projects.
- Exposure to BIM and integrated environmental design.
- Clear progression within an expanding practice.
The Opportunity
This role suits a Part II who wants to build strong residential experience while learning from a team that is always looking at how architecture can be done better. With support towards Part III and exposure to modular, research-led work, it's a great place to build the foundations of your career.
