Senior Project Architect – Luxury Prime Residential Projects
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Architect with strong technical ability to work on exciting residential projects.

London based architectural practice Lewis Stroud Architects are looking for a talented project architect to join their design-led studio. Due to an expanding workload, they are looking for someone with at least 3 years post Part III experience, who can run medium-large scale projects (£1m+). Lewis Stroud Architects is a young, evolving team driven by a desire to create beautiful spaces and are looking for a personable individual to join their practice and align with their ethos and creativity.

The ideal candidate is technically minded, highly motivated and has extensive experience of all RIBA construction stages. You will be expected to manage your own workload, as well as supervising others in your team.

We are based near Clapham Junction, London and are looking to move to Wimbledon in the near future. This is an office based position so you would be expected to commute to this location.

Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional Design Skills and attention to detail.
• ARB registered Chartered Architect with a minimum of 3 years post part Ill experience.
• Manage projects across all RIBA stages 1-7. Ability to lead and manage a small team.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with fluency in English.
• Confident in presenting to and liaising with clients & stake holders.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
• Ability to manage workloads under time pressure.
• Experience in contract administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project lead and onsite experience ideally to oversee the admin part of the project, run DTMs, record minutes, chase actions, etc. Lead client meetings. Prepare detail tender and construction drawings. Carry out site inspections and prepare project reports. Liaise with consultants and contractors. Communicate design issues and solutions directly to the client. Oversee and mentor project team members.
