A Senior Architect job is now available with an AJ100 practice in London! This is an opportunity to join a dedicated team working on conservation and cultural projects throughout the UK! The role offers hybrid working and excellent benefits!

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage conservation and cultural projects, ensuring sensitive design responses
  • Support project leads in the day-to-day management of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Collaborate with public and private sector clients, trusts, museums, and heritage bodies
  • Work with specialist consultants, conservators, and craftspeople to develop sensitive solutions
  • Act as contract administrator during the construction phase where required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience in the UK
  • Proven experience working on conservation and cultural projects such as listed buildings, museums, galleries, heritage sites, or ecclesiastical buildings
  • Strong design, technical, and detailing skills, with project-running experience
  • Knowledge of UK planning and building regulations, particularly in relation to heritage and conservation projects
  • Experience managing budgets, planning applications, and listed building consents
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS is essential
  • Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
