An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Driver to join our ambitious, growing team in Lancashire. If you meet the following criteria, please apply.

Delivery Driver
Accrington, BB5

  • Full Time/Part Time, Permanent
  • Monday to Friday, hours vary between 6am to 8pm (required 40 to 60 Hours per week)
  • ÂŁ20,000 – ÂŁ37,000 per annum
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays if working a 5 day week
  • Clean Driving Licence and must be aged 25 or over for Insurance requirements

We have been providing quality GRP Building Products for nearly a quarter of a century. Over the years, we have continuously invested in the design, development and redesign of a new generation of canopies with the ability to re-create classic styles and traditional appearances using modern lightweight materials.

Due to continued growth, there is now a vacancy for a Delivery Driver to join our professional team, based in Accrington, Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Required to load & unload delivery, so must be physically able to do so
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with staff & customers
  • Able to conduct vehicle inspections and maintain records
  • Confident driver to deliver products throughout England
  • Able to stop overnight in a hotel at least 1 night per week

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Confident driver and able to drive a Luton Van 3.5 Tonne
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • A confident communicator
  • Experience in driving 3.5 ton vans advantageous
  • Road & map knowledge is essential
  • Reliable & punctual
  • Live local to Accrington, Lancashire for pickup and drop of vehicle
  • Able to work alone & as part of a team
  • Flexible to work 30 to 60 hours per week
  • Must be able to provide reference for previous employers
