Currently, we are seeking a dedicated foreperson to join our dynamic team operating in Richmond.

The Role

The main objective of this role is to accurately plan and oversee daily operations at site level, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and full compliance with Health and Safety legislation.

Given the diverse range of sites involved, possess a valid full manual driving license is essential, as driving constitutes an important aspect of the position.

  • Expertise in general building practices including brickwork/masonry repairs, timber repairs, roofing, painting and decorating, timber window replacements, and internal and external communal redecoration works.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising a team of trade personnel across various sites.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, the general public, and subcontractors.
  • Strong ability for promoting positive working relationships.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Possession of a valid CSCS Card.
  • Full, manual driving licence.
  • Experience with pre-decoration repairs.
  • Previous experience working in the public housing sector.
  • Basic IT knowledge.
  • Scaffold inspection – training can be provided.
  • First Aid – training can be provided.
  • IPAF.
  • PASMA.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS.

Package

  • Salary - £43,000 to £47,000, based on experience.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch).
  • Holidays: 21 days of holiday + bank holidays + birthday day off. Christmas closure.
  • Company van (tracked) and fuel card for business use.
  • Phone for business use.
  • Company branded Uniform and relevant PPE.
  • Additional information
  • DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company’s expense.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Six Month Probationary Period.
