About Us
The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the UK regulator for architects, responsible for maintaining a Register of Architects and ensuring public safety.
The Team
The Professional Standards team manages complaints about architects and oversees investigations and disciplinary processes to maintain public confidence in the profession.
The Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Case Preparation Officer (CPO) works closely with ARB’s solicitors to prepare and manage cases for consideration by the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC). The postholder oversees a caseload of complaints, monitors progress and costs, ensures timely case progression, identifies and resolves issues, ensures thorough investigation, obtains witness evidence, drafts reports and consent orders for submission to ARB’s solicitors and the PCC.
