Assistant Site Manager – High-End Fit-Out (Hospitality) Competitive Salary Location: Central London – Liverpool Street Station Fixed term contract: approx. 7 months Start: end of May 2025 Essential Requirements: * SSSTS, First Aid at Work, PASMA, IPAF * Fluent English * Good communicator * Basic computer literacy is a must ability to use Outlook for emails, how to find information in the folders, printing, scanning etc. * Must be based within a commutable distance to central London (max 45min of travel from Liverpool Street Station) Desirable Requirements: * SMSTS * Knowledge of any additional European language In return for the above, we will offer a highly competitive salary, negotiable on experience. Job Description: This is a contract role that will run for the length of the project with the potential for more work for a suitable candidate once this project completes. We are looking for a Junior Site Manager to work alongside the Site Manager, as his assistant, on a high-end fit out project located in central London, near Liverpool Street Station. This scheme is due to commence in November 2024. This is a permanent role for approx. 10 months or until completion of the project in Autumn 2025. This role will encompass assisting the Site Manager in the management of all site labour and of all site activities, Health and Safety, assisting in overseeing trade contractors and making sure all work is progressing in line with Site Manager’s instructions and that it is being completed to the highest spec, on time and within the parameters of the design. Weekend work and/or out of hours work will be required from time to time. The Assistant Site Manager will be reporting to the Site Manager. Experience: The ideal candidate for the role will be a Junior Site Manager who has some experience of managing fit out and refurbishment projects, with a proven track record of at least office fit out projects. The perfect candidate will have experience within the refurbishment market and have specific experience of assisting in managing the fit out of hotels and/or restaurants, bars, clubs, offices and similar and will understand the building process, with the ability to be hands on when required. We are looking for a good communicator, able to manage and interact with contractors in a positive engaging manner with minimum of 2 years\’ experience as an Assistant Site Manager or a Junior Site Manager in construction interior fit outs and refurbishment sector and ability to run the site to meet CDM requirements.
