Marker is a technology joint venture from 3 leading communications agencies. We’re an incubator building and launching force‑multiplying software products for communications teams. Our first product is Delve — a coverage monitoring, analysis, and insight toolkit to track and measure the entire online conversation about your business or industry. Our product team is small and autonomous, but with the resources, expertise, and customer access of the global agencies we work with. We’re hiring an engineer to join us on this journey; you’ll have a large impact on what we build, how we build it, and where we’re going next.

The Role

As a Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with the engineering team, designers, product leadership, and executive team to deliver high‑quality, robust, performant, and delightful products to our user base. You’ll work across the full stack; it’s fine to specialize in a certain area, but you’ll be contributing to and building features across all components of the system.

Our Technology Stack

  • Frontend: TypeScript, React, Tailwind
  • Backend: Deno, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Terraform, Google Cloud, various AI providers

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years in a professional software engineering role.
  • A deep appreciation for software product quality.
  • You don’t have to be an expert in all the tools we use, but willingness to learn is a must, and experience with equivalent tools goes a long way.

Bonus Points For Experience In

  • Data visualization
  • Distributed systems
  • Web scraping
  • Large‑scale data pipelines

We’re prioritizing candidates who can occasionally collaborate from our NYC, SF, or London product office hubs - though exceptional candidates in any of our global office locations are welcome to apply.
