Role Overview
As a Digital Account Manager, you will be joining a Digital team of 9, within a larger agency of 80. You will be a key day‑to‑day client lead across digital, social and paid media accounts for a B2B tech marketing agency working with some of the world’s leading technology brands. This role requires someone who is confident managing client relationships, delivering high‑quality social and paid media campaigns, and using data to inform creative and strategic decisions. Digital Account Manager(s) report into the Head of Digital Marketing.
As a Digital Account Manager at Archetype, you will:
- Understand complex B2B audiences, build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, and help turn business objectives into effective digital campaigns.
- Be the main day‑to‑day contact for key client accounts, managing communications, status meetings, expectations and project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, developing a clear understanding of their business, audiences, objectives and internal pressures.
- Lead the planning, management and optimisation of organic social activity for B2B technology clients including: developing content calendars, writing and reviewing copy, briefing creative assets, managing publishing schedules, monitoring performance and reporting on results.
- Understand how social content performs across B2B channels, particularly LinkedIn, and be able to balance brand, audience relevance, creativity and measurable performance.
- Support and manage paid media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads and other relevant B2B media channels.
- Be responsible for campaign setup, optimisation, budget pacing, performance monitoring and reporting.
- Use data to identify insights, improve performance and make recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with senior team members to help develop campaign plans, media recommendations and social strategies for B2B technology clients.
- Contribute audience insight, platform knowledge, creative ideas and performance learnings to shape effective campaign approaches.
- Help identify opportunities to improve, expand or evolve client work which may include recommending new channels, content formats, paid media tests, reporting improvements or additional services that support the client’s wider business objectives.
Please note: there is an expectation to come into the office twice per week.
As a Digital Account Manager at Archetype, you will bring:
- Demonstrable experience in digital, social or paid media account management.
- Strong client management skills, including experience owning day‑to‑day client communications.
- Hands‑on experience managing organic social media activity, especially LinkedIn.
- Hands‑on experience with paid media campaigns, ideally including LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads.
- Understanding of B2B marketing, ideally within technology, SaaS, enterprise technology or related sectors.
- Ability to turn campaign data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Strong copywriting, content planning and briefing skills.
- Excellent organisation, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Confidence managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Excellent written grammar and verbal communication skills.
