Job description
One of our clients is looking to employ a full time Warehouse Stores Person in Swindon.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check, book in and store material deliveries.
- Conduct inspection of materials against drawing and specification to sample plan.
- Place non confirming materials into quarantine and inform the Quality Manager.
- Kit jobs ready for production; picking to an approved parts list.
- Generate markers as part of the kitting process.
- Recording the Goods Receiving Numbers for all materials issued to Production.
- Daily check of any jobs with material shortages and feedback to Supply Chain MRP planner.
- Issue of materials to Production as per any Additional Material Request sheets.
- Support the packaging and dispatch processes.
- Deliver products to Customers as and when required.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the Stores area.
- Follow all company standards / procedures / work instruction relevant to the role.
- Any other Management requests.
Working Hours37.5 hour week.Mon – Thurs 07:45 – 16:45.Fri 07:45 – 12:30.
Qualifications
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English.
- Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
ExperiencePrevious Stores / Warehousing experience required.Experience in data input & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
