Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for Wireline Logging Engineer to register their interest in joining the team on the award of a large upcoming project. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced candidates to join on a long term P&A Campaign. This will be an adhoc offshore role, joining on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supervise field crew, providing direction and training as needed.
  • Foster a team environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Attend pre- and post-job Client meetings when required.
  • Ensure the Client's technical objectives are always understood and effectively communicated to the rest of the team.
  • Ensure correct planning of operation including mobilization of correct equipment.
  • Travel to and perform field operations at oil and gas wellsites, possibly in remote geographical areas.
  • Evaluate and interpret data during and after logging operations.
  • Analyze well site related problems and apply appropriate technological solutions to solve them.
  • Maintain sufficient working knowledge of Archer proprietary equipment and commoditized well services equipment that you are required to use.
  • Communicate to Line Supervisors/Managers any concerns, suggestions, ideas and improvements.
  • Train other engineers in competence of your expertise when required by the Operations Managers.
  • Ensure the final job report is produced to required standard in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Technical degree, apprenticeship or qualification preferred.
  • Experience in a similar offshore wireline logging engineering role is essential.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
