Overview
Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunity for a Proposal and Tender Co-ordinator to join our Well Services Sales and Marketing team for the UK, Africa and Caspian regions. This role will be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen. Joining on a full time, permanent basis, we looking for a self motivated and proactive individual with upstream Oil & Gas Sales experience including a proven track record in business development and sales activity; excellent tendering and commercial experience and technical and operational knowledge relating to the sale of drilling and intervention services to operators and service companies.
We are looking for a candidate that is commercially aware, has good accuracy and time management skills and should have proven tender process experience with XaitPorter knowledge preferable.
Responsibilities
- Devisingsuccessful strategiesfor successful tenders,
- Develop and present new business opportunities.
- Prepare the commercial content of documents relating to pre-qualifications, quotations and tenders in readiness for timely submission.
- Working with key members of the project team and Archer management to obtain the information required to compile the tender.
- Assessing and addressing any technical and commercial risks relating to the tender opportunities.
- Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the tender has been submitted.
- Support with researching and identifying opportunities on which to submit tenders.
- Interfacing with potential sub-contractors and joint venture partners.
- Support Sales and Marketingteam in Well Services UK with market awareness using appropriate marketing techniques and researching current and future market trends.
