We currently have an opening for a Materials Logistics Coordinator within our busy Well Services team in the Blackburn office, Aberdeen.
The role involves arranging domestic shipments to and from Archer Oiltools UK, Caspian, Africa, and participating in the daily operations of the logistics department.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all shipments and accompanying documentation comply with Archer\’s trade compliance program and procedures.
- Ensure shipments and documentation adhere to laws, rules, and regulations of departure and destination countries.
- Stay updated on laws, rules, and regulations related to transportation, both domestic and international.
- Coordinate with client logistics handlers and international freight forwarders to ensure goods and equipment are manifested, shipped, and received in compliance with company policies.
- Implement and manage customs and excise compliance.
- Enter all certification and paperwork into the computer system promptly.
- Maintain close liaison with workshop, operations, and supply chain regarding inventory and logistics.
- Update ERP system and Oiltools Operation System (OTOS) daily.
Candidate Requirements
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations concerning domestic and international shipments.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- General knowledge of Materials Logistics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
