Responsibilities include:
- Operations are planned, organised, and carried out in accordance with well programmes, operator’s requirements and contractual obligations.
- Good communication is maintained with Client Representative and other Rig Managers.
- Drilling practices are carried out safely and adhere to operator's and Archer’s procedures.
- Review of requested amendments to rig specific operating procedures and approval of same within Archer document suite.
- Generation of new operating procedures (with support from offshore personnel) and implementing same within Archer document suite.
- The Operator is satisfied with Archer’s performance. No complaints received regarding operations or quality of personnel.
- Ensuring under performance of personnel is managed as per Archer procedures and monitored through to completion.
- Archer’s contractual interests are always considered.
- Incentive Programmes meet objectives with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Third Party services supplied through Archer protect best interests of Archer and the Operator.
- Rig(s) are visited on a monthly basis, or more often as necessary, to monitor operations, complete inspections and communicate with the workforce.
- Operations are closely monitored, problems are anticipated and solutions created to avoid unnecessary expenditure.
- All operations and communication demonstrate full support and compliance with Archer HSE&Q Management Systems and Company Policies.
- IWCF Surface Well Control – Supervisor Level accreditation.
- Full support is given for achievement of Corporate, divisional, operational and individual objectives.
