Lead Roustabouts to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis .
We will be supporting our client by deploying a new build compact workover rig to support the P&A activities on their asset.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the newbuild compact workover rig throughout the manufacture, testing, mobilisation and operations.
This will include supporting offshore operations to reinstate existing platform systems and prepare the platform to integrate the compact workover rig onto the platform.
The Lead Roustabout will oversee lifting and deck operations to ensure tasks are undertaken safely, efficiently and professionally.
The successful candidates will work in the North Sea out of Dyce on a
3/3 rotation .
Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervision and performance of personnel working in Pipedeck, module laydown and storage areas.
- Physical condition of areas and equipment, including planned inspections.
- Helideck Operations.
- Crane Operations.
- Supervise the storage, maintenance and preparation prior to use and movement of all rig equipment, ensuring that all such operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with Company Operating procedures and Safety Policy.
- Assist the Driller and Assistant Driller as requested with the preparation of drilling equipment prior to use.
- Inform the Senior Toolpusher of any faulty equipment so that the appropriate Permits/Job Cards can be raised if necessary.
- Liaise with Platform Services Supervisor, Platform crane operators and Deck Foreman regarding any lifting requirements with a high regard to pre-planning to minimise waiting time and to ensure that the correct lifting and slinging procedures are being followed by all personnel.
- Assist with offload/backload supply vessels for all platform requirements including bulk hose transfers (drilling and utilities).
- Evaluate all work to be carried out to the requirements of the Permit-to-Work system, initiate Permits-to-Work as necessary and ensure that all safety precautions are taken and only work is carried out stated in the Permit-to-Work.
- Supervise loading and unloading of bulk chemicals.
- Ensure new and existing members of their crew are trained, coached and assessed as required.
- Delegate responsible person to act as focal point for all lifting and slinging equipment and be responsible for its return to the rigging loft.
- Supervise all offloading and backloading of drilling-tools and equipment. Unload and backload chemical pallets with forktruck and stack pallets in sackstore.
- Landing and Refueling Helicopters.
- Making sure all safety checks are carried out on the Helideck.
- Daily checks on Heli fuel.
Requirements
- Must have relevant experience in a similar Lead Roustabout role offshore role in the North Sea.
- OPITO Banksman Slinger Level 3 essential.
- OPITO Banksman Slinger Level 4 preferred.
- BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS.
- MIST.
- OPITO Working at Hight level 2.
- OEUK Medical.
- Passenger Shoulder Measurement.
- Right to work in the UK essential.
