Archer UK currently have an exciting opportunities for a Workshop Technician to join the Archer Well Services team.
The successful candidate will assemble, service and maintain Surface Solutions equipment in the workshop.
You will be based in Altens, Aberdeen. You will join on a full-time, permanent basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist workshop supervisor/onshore team with a focus on HSE, good housekeeping practices.
- Work alongside the Workshop Supervisor, Operations Coordinators and Offshore team to assist on loadouts and backloads.
- Complete all tooling and surface equipment maintenance checklist in line with Archer’s policies and procedures.
- Receiving equipment backloads and working with the maintenance supervisor to carry out maintenance processes in accordance with maintenance manuals and technical bulletins. Ensure quality standards are continuously maintained and followed.
- Assisting in pressure control equipment maintenance and pressure testing in-house.
- Assisting with the maintenance, and readiness of the Surface solutions equipment

Ownership of the maintenance of the equipment, highlighting any preventative maintenance to further improve the service quality delivered to our customers
Requirements:
- Technical qualification/apprenticeship essential.
- Have 3 -5 years previous experience in a related role.
- Hydraulic & Mechanical experience essential.
- Electrical experience preferred.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
