Supervise the Well Services workshop team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.
Key responsibilities (not limited to):
- Lead Safety Culture with focus on Archer with five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
- Manage workshop personnel ensuring high workmanship standards, engaging in workforce planning, assist training and mentoring workshop staff, ensure competency validation (with support from the Well Services Workshop Supervisor).
- Lead the Well Services Workshop Team/Allocating Work as requested by the Well Services Workshop Supervisor.
- Provide cover for Well Services Workshop Supervisor in times of absence and be part of on-call rota.
- Review all equipment maintenance checklists in line with Archer's policies and procedures.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in compiling equipment documentation and certification prior to sign off.
- Make recommendations for improvement to the department's performance and efficiency.
- Audit work methods, checklists, maintenance processes to ensure service quality compliance.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
- Mentor other team members to ensure optimum service quality.
- Inspect equipment during and after completion for workmanship, quality and cleanliness of assigned areas.
Qualifications/Education:
- Technical qualifications in mechanical maintenance.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
Experience:
- Must have experience in a comparable technical leadership role.
- Must have equipment maintenance and planning experience.
- Oil & gas sector experience.
- High school diploma or technical certification recognised by industry.
- Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical experience/qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Be able to understand engineering drawings or documentation.
- Experience completing job and maintenance documentation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Numeracy and literacy skills.
