The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
To work in a support capacity with a nominated group of district managers (ASM team) and assist the sales manager with management, performance and development of the team in line with agreed sales strategy and overall business plan. This is in addition to the standard accountabilities of the district manager position.
Key Objectives:
- Responsible for development and maintenance of comprehensive plan for team sales activity including pipeline and productivity.
- Responsible for managing both personal and team quota.
- Responsible for supporting the management of all active sales processes within the team, ensuring co-ordination of company resource in an optimal and effective manner.
- To fulfil the standard accountabilities of the district manager Major Accounts in addition to the above objectives.
Key duties/tasks:
- To monitor the performance of the team on a daily basis, co-ordinating resource, monitoring activity, and where necessary initiating corrective action with regional sales manager to ensure sustainable delivery of results.
- To generate new business.
- To carry personal quota plus part of team target.
- To manage sales opportunities through direct reports.
- To liaise closely with the sales manager, other team sales managers, DVPs and colleagues within Barcelona Inside Sales group in pursuance of a consistent approach to sales/product/commercial strategy.
- To submit the relevant management reports in a timely manner including up to date forecasting information.
Supervisory responsibilities:
- To work under own initiative for day-to-day workload in line with overall strategy and guidelines.
- To work through direct reports for specific requirements.
- Responsible for the direction of the team with regard to training, motivation, and development.
- Member of the sales management team.
Skills and knowledge:
- Ability to anticipate, identify and analyse problems and opportunities, establish priorities and efficiently allocate and utilise resources.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial/sales issues preferably within a Payroll/HR software and service environment.
- Ability to review and measure progress against specific criteria and take necessary corrective action where appropriate.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, personal integrity and a positive attitude in all dealings with colleagues/clients.
Education and experience:
- Must be able to demonstrate extensive direct selling experience, preferably within a Payroll/HR software and service environment and consistent over performance.
- Team Leader/Sales Management experience (desirable).
