Offshore Maintenance Mechanic in Cleethorpes

We are currently seeking an Offshore Maintenance Mechanic to join our busy offshore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all maintenance activities on our client\’sasset. This role is based in the UK North Sea and is on a 3/3 rotational basis.

Duties/Responsibilities

• T o liaise daily with theSenior Company Representative regarding maintenance/repairs in order to properly plan ahead so as to avoid the risk of delay through equipment breakdown.
• Manage and plan preventative & corrective maintenance operations for offshore maintenance team in accordance with client CMMS in order to meet client safety, compliance and operational targets.
• Ensure that all Third Party personnel including Service Engineers comply with Company and Installation Safety Procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment under their control complies with statutory requirements and is maintained at all times in a safe condition or is otherwise completely withdrawn from service, including tools and instruments in their care.
• Update or modify any drawings, sketches or information on existing and replacement equipment as required or provide such information to management.
• Ensure that an adequate supply of spare parts is maintained on the installation and is stored in environmentally sound conditions.
• Check maintenance materials offloaded and liaise with Senior Company Representative to order/re-order stock as required to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure that all applicable Company reports are completed.
• Carry out tasks as part of a multi-discipline maintenance team as operational requirements dictate.
• Provide such information to shore based maintenance personnel as may be required to meet Client safety, compliance and operational targets.
• Recommend and when required implement modifications to equipment or systems to enhance safety, improve rig performance or comply with statutory notices.
• Liaise with client supervisors on any matters relating to the safe operation of the installation.
• Monitor any rig equipment supplied by other contractors or sub-contractors to ensure that it is suitable for use within the areas desired.

Requirements

• Technical qualifications in mechanical maintenance.
• Previous experience in an offshore drilling environment essential.
