Archer UK currently have 2 exciting opportunities for Workshop Technicianto join the Archer Well Services team.
The successful candidate will assemble, service and maintain Wireline and/or Surface Solutions equipment in the workshop.
You will be based inAltens, Aberdeen. You will join on afull-time, permanent basis.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly, service, and maintenance of Archer Wireline and/or Surface Solutions product portfolio, according to manuals and procedures.
- Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures.
- Preparation of offshore checklists for tools.
- Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of the workshop area.
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities.
- Safe and proactive behaviour, active use of 4-point-check, toolbox talk, interventions, and proactive reporting.
Requirements:
- Mechanical qualification/apprenticeship essential.
- Must have experience in a similar hands-on mechanical role.
- Good IT skills. Must be able to independently operate windows software.
- Experience with torquing equipment preferred, but not essential.
- Experience with overhead cranes preferred, but not essential.
- Pressure testing experience preferred, but not essential.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
