We are currently seeking a Workshop Fishing Technician to join the Oiltools team.
This role will be required to:
- Carry out servicing, assembly, and testing of Archer Fishing equipment, shock tools, and third-party equipment in accordance with Archer\’s quality management system.
- Prepare tools for shipment offshore according to work orders and procedures.
- Prepare offshore checklists for tools.
- Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of the workshop area.
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities.
- Engage in project work.
- Maintain safe and proactive behaviour, including active use of 4-point checks, toolbox talks, interventions, and proactive reporting.
- Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to operational needs if required.
- Maintain a clean work area and keep all paperwork and records up to date.
- Assist in training and mentoring Archer personnel on fishing equipment and maintenance as required.
Experience:
- Proficient in Windows PC use.
- Extensive experience with all fishing tools and inspection criteria.
- Experience in setting up new business workshops and improving workflow efficiencies is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of rig systems and drilling operations.
