We are currently seeking a Resource Planner to join our busy Oiltools team. The Resource planner is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of all Oil Tools operational assets, with particular focus on Slot Recovery Services, ensuring optimal availability, performance, and value. This role provides tactical and strategic direction for asset utilization, procurement, and deployment, working closely with operations, finance, engineering, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform the job within the bounds Archer’s Mission, Vision and Values, and in line with the Company management systems established policies, processes and procedures
- Resources Planning, including capacity Planning by developing and implementing tactical asset management plans to support operational demands and international deployment
- Work closely with operations and sales teams to forecast resource needs (equipment) and coordinate with Operations and Engineering to align asset readiness with project requirements globally
- Support resource allocation decisions based on project priorities, equipment condition, and lead time
- Ensure Process Adherence for accurate asset records and data integrity in asset management systems
- Establish and monitor asset performance metrics and implement corrective actions or improvements
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards and certification requirement
- Lead asset audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in asset management processes and cost control.
Experince Required
- Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in asset management in energy, oil & gas
- Operational expertise in deploying and managing tools designed for complex slot recovery tasks.
- Experience with ERP or asset management tools (e.g., IFS, SAP, Oracle, RTMS).
- Excellent analytical, planning, and leadership skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
