We are currently seeking a Pressure Control Maintenance Technician for our Well Services Team. The Pressure Control Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall operation of the pressure testing bay for all UK business lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Coiled Tubing/Wireline BOPs and Coiled Tubing/Wireline Stuffing Boxes.
- Pressure test pressure control equipment and treat hoses within Well Services.
- Perform shear/slip testing in line with Archer CT procedures and/or customer requirements.
- Ensure adequate spares are in stock and readily available.
- Assist with planning and coordination of 5-year major certification updates on PCE.
- Maintain and update necessary certification for pressure control across all UK business units.
- Input and adhere to business units’ quality plans in line with relevant industry standards.
- Lead safety culture with a focus on Archer’s five core values, in line with other workshop personnel.
- Follow and update maintenance procedures.
- Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out at the correct intervals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and original build standards.
- Support with any workshop tasks as requested during quieter periods.
