We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join a dedicated repairs and maintenance team. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality repair and maintenance work across responsive and void properties. The successful candidate will conduct pre- and post-inspections, provide technical support to trades teams, and help maintain high standards across housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre- and post-inspections of repairs in both responsive and void properties.
  • Ensure high-quality work is completed to meet housing standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee and manage repair and void processes, ensuring timely and effective maintenance.
  • Provide technical advice and support to trades teams and contractors.
  • Monitor repair performance, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with tenants, colleagues, and external contractors to maintain high service levels.
  • Identify property condition issues and propose effective solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in maintenance surveying, property management, or housing repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction standards, and void management.
  • Ability to inspect, diagnose, and recommend appropriate repairs and maintenance solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to liaise with teams and tenants.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, Property Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
