Archer Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to join a supported housing service in South Gloucestershire. This role is available on either a temporary or permanent basis and offers the opportunity to make a real difference supporting vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness.

Role Overview: You will provide tailored 1:1 housing-related support to residents, helping them sustain their tenancies, manage rent accounts, access welfare benefits, and progress towards independent living. You'll work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychologically informed, person-centred support
  • Manage rent accounts and address arrears
  • Complete risk assessments and support plans
  • Support residents into education, training, employment, and permanent housing
  • Work in partnership with external agencies
  • Ensure safeguarding, health safety, and compliance standards are met

Requirements:

  • Experience in supported housing, housing management, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of homelessness, safeguarding, and welfare benefits
  • Ability to manage a caseload and deliver tailored support
  • Strong communication and partnership-working skills
  • Eligible for Enhanced DBS
